Komson Silapachai

Komson Silapachai is a Partner of the firm and a member of the Investment Committee. Before being named Partner in September 2021, Komson was Vice President of Research and Portfolio Strategy spanning responsibilities in macro strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and sustainability. Prior to joining Sage in 2016, Komson spent nine years at Teacher Retirement System of Texas, most recently as an investment manager in its Asset Allocation group. Komson holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the CFA Institute. When he’s not in the office, Komson loves exploring Austin with his wife, his daughter, and their two pups. In his spare time, he also volunteers with retired racing greyhounds and as a YES mentor through Partnerships for Children, helping foster youth transition to adulthood.
